Who we are

Occy’s Find is operated by Cosmicom Ltd (“we”, “us”), trading as Occy’s Find. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact: privacy@occys.fit.

What we collect and why

Account data (email address, phone number when you use phone sign-in, display name, password credentials) — to create and secure your account. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.

Product data (saved sales, future finds, alerts, feed preferences such as region, categories and brands) — to personalise your feed and send alerts you request. Legal basis: contract performance and, for optional alerts, your consent.

Usage and telemetry (scans run, tokens consumed, affiliate clicks, device identifiers, IP address, approximate region, log data) — to meter plan usage fairly, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve the product. Legal basis: contract performance and our legitimate interests.

Support messages you send us — to answer you. Legal basis: legitimate interests.

Marketing emails, only if you opt in — legal basis: consent, withdrawable at any time.

We do not sell personal data.

Who we share data with

Service providers / subprocessors for hosting, database, authentication, email delivery, and AI processing, acting on our instructions.

Paddle.com, our online reseller and Merchant of Record, for the sale of our products, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing. Paddle handles payment data directly.

Apple, where you purchase through in-app purchase on iOS.

Professional advisers (legal, accounting) and authorities where required by law.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including outside the UK/EEA. Where that happens we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses with appropriate safeguards.

Retention

We keep account and product data while your account is active. If you delete your account, account and product data are deleted immediately. Usage logs are kept for up to 12 months for security and abuse prevention, then deleted or anonymised. Transaction records are retained as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Your rights

Subject to local law you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent at any time. Email privacy@occys.fit and we will respond within one month. If you are in the UK/EEA you may also complain to your local supervisory authority.

Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, encrypted storage, row-level access controls, and least-privilege access for our team.

Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. Any analytics or marketing cookies are only set with your consent, and you can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Children

Occy’s Find is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Deleting your account

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Dashboard → Account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

We will post any changes on this page and update the date above.
